I love the month of January. For some, it means a bout of the January blues...that feeling of over-indulgence and the guilt that you haven’t gotten around to making those New Year’s Resolutions yet! For me, January means a bit of detoxing, some reflection on the year that has passed and LOOKING FORWARD. It is a fresh start! What possibilities, challenges and experiences will this New Year ahead bring in both our personal & corporate lives?

Use it as a means to get organized, focused and getting off on the right foot. Lay out your goals and see how you can make this year more productive and run a little more smoothly than the year before. We all want to make our lives a little easier right? Naturally – so we don’t waste our time on menial things and have more time to spend on the important aspects. A good place to start in your corporate life is your Customer Relationship Management.

I am not kidding when I say that I feel like something is missing when I don’t have my CRM tab opened on my desktop in the office. Speaking of making our lives a little easier…CRM is definitely the way forward. My CRM calendar is the first thing I check in the morning when I arrive at the office & the last thing I look at before leaving to go home. It puts me at ease. It ensures that issues never get lost between the cracks. It ensures complete efficiency when it comes to our clients that call in for technical support, or any other request. I have the entire relevant information surrounding said client at the click of a mouse, including every conversation the rest of my team has had with that client. With its extensive reporting capabilities, communication tracking and marketing abilities, I am never left without the information I need to ensure the best experience for our clients at all times.

Having direct access to all of our consultant’s schedules can significantly reduce time wasting when scheduling appointments over the phone for example. This in turn means improving efficiency for us and for our clients.  Sage CRM is a vital component to our team work ethic here at Plus, as it means Sales, marketing and customer care activities are managed and synchronized across all points of interaction.  Having it as a part of my every day life here at Plus, I simply can’t imagine life without it. I can already sense the panic setting in, if that ever were to happen! I feel like the fountain of knowledge with CRM by my side!!
