10 New Year’s Resolutions for the Sage ERP Accpac User

Welcome to 2012… Let’s hope the hype isn’t true and we will all live to see 2013!
Every year on January 1st, most people will make a new year's resolution and a lot of people will struggle to come up with something good that they will resolve to do. A lot of people will also struggle to KEEP their resolutions but that’s a whole different blog article. We at Plus have come up with 10 suggestions to help make you a better Accpac user in the coming year. Repeat after me, “I resolve to…
- Run an integrity check daily (at the very least weekly)
- Ensure my backups are working on a daily basis (at the very least weekly)
- Upgrade our system if I am running a version less than 5.6
- Have a system review performed by an ERP consultant to ensure I am using my system to full capacity
- Reduce my environmental footprint – There are many software solutions available that will help in the fight to save the planet. Printboss is a great example.
- Quit Excel spreadsheets – I will introduce business intelligence to my organization to get in-depth and up-to-the-minute reporting. There are many different solutions available that integrate to your Accpac system.
- Get Refresher Training– I will tone up my Accpac skills with monthly webinars from Plus or schedule on-site training. (Which can be customized to your specific requirements.)
- Connect with other Sage Accpac users by joining the LinkedIn and Facebook user groups for Plus clients
- Investigate if joining the Plus technical support program would be beneficial for our organization.
- Refer a friend to my awesome Accpac provider, Plus Computer Solutions…"
