Coming into Plus in an administrative role I knew I had a lot to learn about Accpac. However, I can happily say that I have reached a certain comfort level with it. I no longer need to scour my notes for a step-by-step guide, or pester anyone willing to help me whenever I have a (what others would consider menial) task to complete. As with everything though, right when I think I understand, something else gets thrown into the loop.
In this case, I am talking about third party software. I was expecting another steep learning curve, only to find out how much easier third party software made my day. Accpac is an amazingly efficient product on its own, add in third party software and your options are greatly expanded!
I present you with Plus’ suggested 3rd Party stocking stuffers:

Wellspring PrintBoss - PrintBoss increases security by allowing Accpac to print cheques onto blank cheque stock, saves time by formatting information to electronic forms with the click of a button, and conveniently includes payment information as well as relevant bank information on the cheque.

Orchid Process Scheduler – Process Scheduler allows you to schedule data integrity checks, backups, day-end, as well as many other automated processes at a time and frequency convenient for your business’s schedule. Easily integrated with your Accpac data, it allows for piece of mind as well as current and accurate information.
