Handy tip when using Excel with Sage ERP Accpac

Here’s a great Excel tip – whether you are in Accpac’s Financial Reporter or non-Accpac related spreadsheet.  To capture the name of the tab in a cell, like so:

Simply use the following formula:

Here it is so you can copy it, as it is too complicated to remember and a little cumbersome to have to type:

                =MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",CELL("filename",A1))+1,255)
