Wouldn't it be nice if ACCPAC could calculate vacation percentage/rate automatically based on an employees seniority, instead of manually monitoring and updating a vacation percentage/rate?

Well, here is how you do it.

Create a new VACATION code

Make use of "Through service year" columns to enter seniority levels and the rates

Assign this new vacation code to employees and transfer outstanding vacation balance to the new vacation code you created

Turn the do not calculate column to "YES" on the old vacation code.
