Sage ACCPAC ERP Pricing compared to Accpac Plus

Over the last couple of weeks I have received a few calls from ACCPAC Plus for DOS users who are surprised by the pricing of Sage ACCPAC ERP (ACCPAC for Windows). I am not sure where this is coming from, as it is a little before my time, but I have been told by those a little older than me that the original pricing of ACCPAC Plus for DOS is very similar to the current pricing of Sage ACCPAC ERP 100 Edition ($700 to $900 per module).
Of course with the promotions available until September of 2006 the pricing was 50% to 75% below this. Unfortunately those promotions are gone as ACCPAC Plus has been discontinued as a product.
I wonder what your thoughts are? Do any of you remember what you originally paid for your ACCPAC Plus software?
Also if anyone out there has any old ACCPAC Plus memorabilia. Disks 5 1/4", Invoice, manuals (pre version 6.0), etc... We would love to get them to display them in our office to illustrate where ACCPAC has come from and where it is going.
