No Email day is a success

On March 25, 2009 Plus Computer Solutions participated in its first no email day. From my perspective it was a great success. We had several positive comments from clients and staff. For the day all members of the company must not send or reply to emails. All communication must be in person or via telephone. We feel that we use email too much as a form of communication which limits our ability to react to intangible forms of communication such as tone of voice and body language. We also feel that many customers would like to hear a voice from time to time to make sure we actually exist and to provide a more personal touch.
We will review specific matters at our next meeting but I believe based on our first attempt this will become a regular weekly occurrence.
